Henry VII was a man of enormous appetites and excesses. An avid gambler and dice player, he also excelled at sports, especially jousting, hunting and royal tennis during his youth. An accomplished musician and poet, his best-known piece of music is Paslyme With Good Company. But he also had a very dark side, a nasty streak tinged with a blood lust for all those who dared to question his royal authority.
